Welcome to The Best Lack All Conviction Blog
This blog is not about anything other than the things I want to write about.
For a long time this blog tried to be about darts and may yet again talk about darts
but for now it is about whatever suits my fancy.
If that entertains, engages or inspires you, then I guess we are in good company.
My sister also has a blog that is written by her pet border collie.

Please following her page and showing her some support. She has been having a tough time since our mother passed due to cancer.
Thought I would take a break from detailing my personal dart exploits (next game is coming up on Tuesday against the #4 team !) I thought I would introduce a new darts article. Instead of a review like I did the last couple of times this time I am out with a bit of a 'how to' guide with some tips that I hope can be helpful to new players. Seeing as how new I amto darts myself it is fair to say it is a touch of huberis on my part to be writing a how to shoot darts guide. Fair enough, and I am by no means trying to over step my bounds. I simply thought I was at a point in my learnign curve where I had an awareness of things that was closer to that, and more able to relate to a newbie player than a seasoned player who might take certain things for granted.
At the end of the day, the proof is in the puding, so please take a look at my Top Ten Tips How to Shoot Good Darts a Guide for Newbie Dart Players and let me know what you think and suggest where I might change or adjust the advice given to be truly effective.
Feed back would be very sincerely appreciated!
Sometimes you discover someone does something and you say 'Wow, I never guessed you did that sort of thing' and sometimes that person is your sister!
My sister Susan has published a book of her poetry and put it up for sale on lulu.com.
Poetry is such a personal thing I think your best bet is to go check it out! Poetry From My Heart and click on 'preview' and see for yourself. I bet you will enjoy it!
As you may know from previous postings my wife is a singer, who mostly does traditional folk, and while that may not be everyone's cup of tea, I must say I have found myself a wife who is a darn talented singer! As it is at present she is on Reverbnation and is currently sitting around 15th spot in the Worcester U.K. Folk Charts on reverb.
The only thing, is that in less than a month she will be joining me in Canada. It is not a lot of time, but I would very much like to get her into the top 10 before she leaves. I think she would be thrilled and it would be an amazing boost for her.
If you would like to help simply check out Rebecca Fox on Reverbnation and check her stuff out. I hope you agree with me about how talented she is, and if it isn't what you normally listen to I suggest giving it a chance as it really does grow on you.
Oh, and in case you were worried, no she is not a new age tree person, my Bex is in fact awesome!
No offense offense intended of course to new age tree people.
Ok back again with other people's stuff, this time from 'Sparkster' who in addition to writing a bit on aliens and conspiracy theory related topics also has a band that you can find on reverbnation called Agony 29 which makes them pretty darn well rounded. Check out their band and their articles, and as always if you like their stuff, please share it as it is a tough job getting honest web traffic.
